Bonnie Ann Burnett is an artist of earth. Her hands are most happy when in touch with the earth. Her eyes, and her photography, have always sought the quiet, overlooked moments of this planet.  Life is richest in the ooze. In mud, compost or freshly split rock, that is where all new journeys begin.

Bonnie Ann Burnett was domesticated on the edge of farmland in Michigan, earthed on the plains of South Dakota and wilded in the mountains of Alaska. She currently resides in Pennsylvania. She carries various titles: artist, earth tender, and author... as well as ranger, scientist, and teacher. Through her forms and photography she invites us to reclaim the stories of our untamed lives.
